The Legend was the first of two excellent courses at the Belle Mare Plage Resort. The course is relatively flat with subtle hills and valleys, and is very easy to walk, with lots of water hazards. In fact, there are probably 14 holes which have some water challenge. The Legends course spans across beautiful vegetation, with thick foliage and trees lining most fairways. Never too long, there are only perhaps a couple of long par fours, but the course is arguably the toughest course to keep a medal score.
The par three holes are excellent and none better than the 17th - a Signature hole, which requires a short iron over an estuary of the lagoon, the only hole with sea views in fact! The Legend Course is the best it has ever been, following major work on the course in 2016 - better greens, fairways and bunkers!
