Pebble Beach is steeped in history, most notably Tiger Woods sublime 15 shot win in the 2000 US Open and the famous showdown between Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson in the 1982 playing of the event.
The most instantly recognisable hole on the course is the par 3 7th. Whilst regarded as a generally short hole in comparison to most tour courses, the 7th is heavily guarded by bunkers and sits on the edge of the rocky coastline and is exposed to brisk, swirling winds.
