Quinta da Ria was designed by the renowned Rocky Roquemore. The golf course consists of spectacular views as it is situated in the centre of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, with the edge of the golf course right on the Algarve coastline.  

There are five purpose-built lakes around the golf course which present a challenge on many of the holes for any golfer. Several dog-legs and many tricky bunkers make this a challenging as well as enjoyable course.
