Designed in 2001, Aroeira Challenge is the second course built in the Aroeira Resort but is said by many to be the tougher course of the two.
Cited as a future venue of the Portuguese Open having already hosted the Ladies Portuguese Open and Ladies European Tour Q School.
Aroeira challenge features many bunkers and 5 lakes creating many natural water hazards, creating a totally different challenge from the Resorts first course and with five tees per hole can be played by golfers of all abilities.
