Those looking to play golf are spoilt for choice on great golf courses in the area, such as Alto, Amendoeira, Gramacho, Palmares, Silves and Vale de Pinta which are all nearby.
Boavista has stunning views over the Bay of Lagos and also inland to the Monchique Mountains. Once you reach the turn you get the best views and can enjoy the halfway house.
Palmares Golf Course is ranked 26th in the Top 100 Courses in Europe, and it's easy to see why. The course boasts undulated fairways through Atlantic Coast dunes and stunning views of the Ocean.
The Resort Course is a good test of ability, and is not as busy or challenging as the Championship course.
